Product Description

Overview

ZnSe F-Theta lenses are scan lenses for CO2 laser systems. They are used with galvanometer scanners to maintain a small and consistent spot diameter across the working plane, supporting marking, engraving, and cutting processes that require stable field performance.

Why F-Theta Geometry Matters

In a scanning system, the incident beam enters the lens at changing angles. Without proper correction, astigmatism and field curvature can create unfocused or distorted spots away from the center of the field. A ZnSe F-Theta lens helps create a flatter scan field and more consistent spot behavior across the designed area.

Typical Applications

  • CO2 laser marking, engraving, and cutting equipment
  • Galvanometer scanner systems requiring flat-field focusing
  • Laser processing systems using beam expanders and scan optics
  • Industrial marking and engraving stations where spot consistency affects line quality

Engineering Notes

For selection, confirm operating wavelength, scan area, focal length, entrance beam diameter, mounting thread, mirror spacing, coating requirement, and required working distance. If the standard in-stock table does not match the mechanical or optical design, custom ZnSe F-Theta lenses can be reviewed and manufactured on request.

For system-level matching, compare with ZnSe beam expanders and ZnSe beam shapers. For quotation support, send your scan field, wavelength, and mounting requirements through the contact form.
