OPTOSTOKES at OPIE 2023 Yokohama Optics Exhibition
OPTOSTOKES exhibited infrared lenses, optical components, and IR optical materials at OPIE 2023 in Yokohama, Japan.
OPIE 2023 in Yokohama
From April 19 to 21, 2023, OPIE 2023 was held at Pacifico Yokohama in Japan. The annual optoelectronics and laser exhibition is one of Japan's established industry events for laser technology, infrared and ultraviolet materials, medical imaging, vision systems, optical measurement, and positioning applications.
OPTOSTOKES joined the exhibition to present infrared lenses, optical components, and a focused range of infrared optical materials for engineers, integrators, and technical buyers reviewing optical designs and material choices.
Displayed IR Optical Materials and Components
The booth highlighted infrared optical components and materials including CVD ZnS, infrared Germanium crystals, Silicon crystals, chalcogenide glass, lenses, and related optical parts. These materials support applications where transmission range, mechanical behavior, coating requirements, and operating environment must be reviewed together.
- Infrared lenses and optical components for imaging and sensing systems
- CVD ZnS, Germanium, Silicon, and chalcogenide glass material options
- Components for thermal imaging, marine systems, aerospace projects, security, defense, optical monitoring, and industrial equipment
Engineering Review Focus
For infrared optics, material selection is rarely decided by one specification alone. Wavelength range, aperture, surface quality, coating target, mounting conditions, and inspection requirements all affect whether a component is suitable for a system.
Visitors discussing projects at OPIE could review standard product paths through IR optical components and compare material options such as Germanium, Silicon, and Zinc Sulfide. For drawing-based parts, the most useful starting point remains a drawing, target wavelength, size, tolerance, coating requirement, and quantity.
Follow-up After the Exhibition
If you are reviewing infrared optical materials or custom components for a new project, send the material code, drawing, wavelength range, target application, and inspection requirements through the contact page. OPTOSTOKES-IROptical can review whether the request fits a standard product route, material selection discussion, or custom optical component workflow.
