Overview

ZnSe cylindrical lenses focus or expand light in one axis only. They are used to form line beams, correct astigmatism, or shape CO2 laser and infrared beams in one dimension.

Optical Function

Unlike spherical lenses, cylindrical lenses act on a single axis. This makes them useful for line generation, one-axis magnification, scanner optics, and beam shaping layouts that require directional control.
